MPQ is a live game and has a hungry art machine. I worked on illustrating maps, covers, icons, and even worked on updating UX designs and refreshing art style of various super outdated screens.

Power shift UX

The Power Shift screen pops up when a hero has the maximum amount of levels in one ability. The player can take away a level from a different ability if they so choose. It was my job to make a better flow for this design, and update it visually.

Adding new style to an old game

Part of my assignments including taking these old mission info screens like you see on the left, and transforming them into the new game art style. This included a lot of information-gathering, testing and seeing if we could cut any features. It was just as much UX as UI, and I included a prototype where you can see the many iterations I tried to make a better player experience.
