Playstation, XBox, Switch, PC

I had the pleasure of working on Spellbreak, a multiplayer action-spellcasting game where you unleash your inner battlemage! I got to work on various aesthetic designs, creating some icons and illustrations from scratch, others using pre-existing assets from a library of created artwork!

This was the first screen you will see when starting up Spellbreak for the first time.

Prologue when you first start each chapter, fully voiced!

Quests

I was lucky enough to work on the Quest feature start to finish, alongside a designer. I got to really dig into various icon-making, the functions of how players get from page to page, and create the aesthetic looks of all items on the page.

The Store

The challenge here was breathing more life into the store to really get across rarity and riff off of popular games like Fortnite’s use of color. I changed the store tiles from all being the same color, to having rarity colors and unique frames to differentiate the rarities. It was a fun change and I think it really gives uniqueness to Spellbreak’s store.

Various features

I got to work on helping finish Spellbreak’s spectate feature by placing assets in a visually nice way on the screen. I experimented with the in-game notification look and placement, and designed how the end of match screen felt and looked. Experimented with the News screen, and various other things!
