Even if the game hasn’t released, I had a blast as the one-stop shop for UI and UX work on the project! I created menus, icons, along with promotional materials and illustrations. I redid the style of the game’s menu and UI a few time, there’s too many pieces created to show them all!

Hero infographic pages - Created with the older icon style, the idea was to easily show what the character could do as a reference sheet.

Icons

One of my first tasks on the project was to create icons for resources, and Relic items that Players could pick up to enhance their hero’s capabilities. I also worked to create Hero Role icons as well as keybind style icons that came later as the style developed.

Menu Art

I created the “Hero Grimoire” the in-game menus pertaining to the player info, abilities, and equipment. I also created the artwork for the inventory, Relic menu, and Crafting tables, in addition to doing all of the UX work for how they functioned. Also showing the tooltip UI here with mockup text.

Style Mockups and Misc.

Creating the visual style we wanted for the UI took time, and I ended up with so many different styles! I didn’t create the artwork of the characters here, but everything else is all my handiwork as I explored the vibe of the game and how that translated into the UI.
